My name is Rebecca.
I’m a 20-something pet parent, sister, friend of animals everywhere, tinkerer, corporate dropout, and dabbler in all things DIY.
I worked two some years at the corporate head office at a major local pet food store, it really opened my eyes to the world behind the label in the pet food industry. We come to trust large pet food companies to guide and market to us what our dog ‘needs’, and apparently their needs include, Ethoxyquin (Pesticide), animal by-product meal, Propylene Glycol (anti-freeze). I was horrified to learn that the food I thought was high quality contained chemicals that belong in auto care products.
I needed a change, I no longer wanted to be part of a movement where us pet parents were literally poisoning our own pets! I left the corporate job to jump into the world of healthy, organic, human grade pet food and providing them to the public. I wanted a place I could share my knowledge and experience to help guide pet parents to natural pet food revolution and that is where pawlogic comes in.
